This product is a tinted (25% Visible Light Transmission), glass shatter resistant and abrasion resistant window film combined with solar properties that, when applied as instructed to the glass surface of interior windows or doors, will helps hold broken glass together, significantly reduce the ultra-violet light that normally would enter through the glass, and reduce the solar heat gain of solar energy through the glass window or door. The film has a low interior reflectivity that offers enhanced views outward at night. Helps prevent flying glass shards in the following applications: spontaneous glass breakage, break and Entry Incidents, seismic events, intentional and accidental explosions, and windstorms. Product must be installed with the 3M™ Impact Protection Attachment (IPA) Sealant for all windstorm, break & entry, and explosion mitigation applications and for all spontaneous glass breakage applications on single pane tempered glass. The product is not bulletproof and is not designed to stop intruders.
