Knifeless tape technology is designed to cut graphic film or other materials without a knife, eliminating the risk of nicks and cuts from a blade on the surface of the vehicle or substrate. Knifeless tape consists of a carrier tape for application and a visible, high strength filament (line) to cut film.

The carrier tape and filament are flexible and turn smoothly along contours and edges of the surface it is applied to. Graphic film is placed over the tape and cutting is achieved by pulling the filament up through the film. A clean cut is made along the entire length of the applied tape. The carrier tape removes cleanly, leaving no adhesive residue.
